Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Chickpeas are loaded with fiber and protein. They’re a healthy option if you’re in the mood for a salty, crunchy snack.  Chickpeas contain vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, iron, B-6, K and folate. Follow this simple recipe for a delicious and nutritious snack!

1 15 oz. can of chickpeas

1 tbsp. of olive or coconut oil

Spices of your choice

We suggest the following spices:

1 tsp. Paprika

1 tsp. Cumin

1 tsp. Garlic powder

Cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper


Step One: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Step Two: Drain, rinse, and pat dry the chickpeas.

Step Three: Mix the chickpeas with oil and spices. Then spread them in a single layer on baking sheet.

Step Four: Bake for 40-60  minutes (stir every 15 minutes).

Step Five: Enjoy this nutritious and simple to make snack!
